Holders of a research master’s degree, a national engineering degree or a degree recognised as equivalent, in a speciality related to the intended doctorate, may apply to register for a doctorate.
Holders of a foreign degree must obtain its equivalence from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Prerequisites
- Thesis supervisor Obtain the agreement of an accredited thesis supervisor who is a member of a research unit affiliated with the Doctoral School.
- Thesis topic Define a thesis topic and a research project with the supervisor.
- Topic approval Have the topic approved by the doctoral and habilitation committee of the speciality; the topic must be original and must not already be recorded in the national theses register.
- Charter Sign the charter of doctoral studies at first registration.
How to apply
Applications are made exclusively online on the Doctoral School platform, followed by the submission of a paper file to the Doctoral School office. The detailed procedure is set out in First registration.
Applications are accepted from 1 September to 15 December of the academic year concerned.
